Established in 2004 Whitelaw Technology had grown over the years to become one of the leading privately owned engineering companies in Cumbria. Since its inception, we have continually invested into our people, facilities & equipment to provide a faster & better service for our clients.
Over the last 13 years we have built up an excellent reputation for reliability, quality, cost effectiveness & professionalism. Our aim is to develop long term relationships with each and everyone of our customers. Customer satisfaction is our standard - We will never settle for anything less!
In 2011 we relocated to Kingstown Industrial Estate to facilitate our growth. We soon realised that demand on the company would require even larger premises. In June 2015 we purchased premises at Durrenhill Industial Estate to facilitate this growth. We moved in May 2016.
Project
We provide project services ranging from any stage of a project, such as design or installation, to managing the full life cycle of a project, including design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of new plants or modification of existing plants.
Examples of projects we have completed include food processing equipment, conveyor systems, storage tanks and similar.
Our aim is to ensure we deliver the required solution, on-time and within budget.
Engineering Design
We can now undertake Engineering Design and Draughting projects. Our mechanical design service covers everything from the re-design of an existing component to the design of a complete new machine. Our staff is well conversant in both 2D draughting and 3D Modelling. We utilise AutoCAD and Inventor.
In addition to our Design Service, we can also offer our customer a comprehensive Draughting Service. Whether you are looking to outsource all of your CAD work or simply seeking to manage peaks and troughs in your workflow more cost-effectively, then we can help you
Manufacturing
With over 30 years engineering experience behind us, our highly skilled workforce is able to manufacture products for a multitude of applications across a broad range of industries. We are conversant in all aspects of fabrications and sheet metal work, from basic products, such as small buckets, to more complex and heavy items, such as hoppers, tanks and pressure vessels.
In connection with our engineering design service, we can fabricate or repair anything from simple handrails and guards to steel structures, chutes, platforms and conveyor systems.
